The Troy University School of Nursing was established in 1969 by unanimous vote of the Alabama Legislature. Programs are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (P.O.Box 995, Bowling Green Station, New York, NY, 10274-0995; phone 800-669-1656, ext. 153) and approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
