If you are having difficulty printing from Datatel, it may be that the printer queue (which holds a list of all of the print jobs sent to that printer) is down.

To check the status of your printer queue, double click XOP for the "Custom Options Menu" then XPT for the "Printer Control Menu."

From this screen you may start a downed printer queue, cancel a print job and enter the correct LP number in the printer characteristics.

To Check the Printer Queue enter XCK then insert your printers LP number and press enter.

The screen below indicates that LP125 is ready and has 0 jobs in the queue.

To Start or Restart your printer queue enter XST at the Control Printer screen then insert your printers LP number and press enter.

If you have successfully restarted your printer, your screen will indicate READY and the report will begin to print.

To Cancel a Print Job enter XCN from the Control Print screen then insert your printers LP number and press enter.

(The Job Number can be found by Checking the Printer Queue as described above.)
